Yellow Meets Red and Blue is the fifth episode of the first series of Colourblocks. It is the fifth episode overall.
Synopsis[]
Red and Blue meet Yellow and have fun colouring the seaside. Discover the colours around you with the Colourblocks.
Plot[]
Red and Blue are following a trail of ducks, coloured a mysterious colour that is neither red nor blue. Red gathers all of the ducks along the way. The two of them follow a nearby squeaking noise and find Yellow playing with a few of his rubber ducks, indulging in the fact that the ducks and himself are all yellow. When Red and Blue find Yellow, Yellow takes the rubber duck "Mr. Squeaky" out of the pile, having been looking for him. Red responds that she's not Mr. Squeaky, and Yellow clarifies he meant his duck. The colours then all introduce themselves, Yellow introducing his rubber ducks as well. Red asks Yellow what the colour yellow is for, and Yellow describes the colour as very bright and happy, pointing out that it's in things like bananas and lemons.
Yellow then colours the ground yellow, making it sand. Blue gets the idea to colour the nearby sea to accompany his sand. Red struggles to find something to colour while Yellow and Blue continue to colour things such as the sun and the sky. Red manages to find some crabs to colour, but gets ignored by Blue and Yellow. Feeling left out, Red walks away, and almost colours a starfish, but Blue colours it first. Yellow then finds three deck chairs, and the three Colourblocks each colour one, Red getting defensive about hers. Red then admits to them that she wants to colour something else, and they find a tiny sandcastle flag for her to colour. She is disappointed, however, because it's not something big to colour, like the sand or the sea. Blue then points out that the sun is setting, and that Red could colour the sky. Though she's not sure at first if the sky can be red, Blue and Yellow help her reach it, and she colours the entire sky red.
The episode ends with Red, Yellow, and Blue concluding that there's three colours in Colourland, and they all happily relax on the deck chairs.
