Yellow

Yellow is the third episode of the first series of Colourblocks. It is the third episode overall.

Synopsis[]

Yellow is happy to bring his colour to Colourland. Learn about the colour yellow with the Colourblocks.

Plot[]

A yellow hemisphere falls from the sky and rolls on the ground. Lifting himself up, Yellow wonders where and who he is, finding soon after that he's Yellow. Yellow states he's happy to be there, and finds that the ground is a good "dance floor". He colours the ground yellow, making it sand. He also spots a big circle in the sky, the sun, which he also colours.

On the ground, Yellow finds and colours a rubber duck. He squeaks it and talks to it, soon discovering a bunch of rubber ducks to all colour in. With a bunch of new yellow friends, Yellow decides to start a yellow party and sing a song about fun things that are yellow.

Characters[]

Trivia[]

  • Song: Party Time With Yellow
  • First yellow object: the sand.
  • This is the third time a Colourblock is formed by falling from the sky.
  • While the animals that are coloured in Red and Blue are sentient, Yellow's rubber ducks don't show any clear sign of sentience.
    • Though when Yellow realises digging up the yellow X is going to take ages, they technically show a sign of being sentient.
  • This is the first Colourblocks episode not to share it's name with an Alphablock episode.
  • When Yellow is opening the treasure chest, it teases the viewers; making it seem like it would be yellow gold, until it is revealed to be a cake.
  • Yellow's first lines parallel the introduction in One. They also parallel Red's and Blue's introductions.
  • This is the third Colourblocks episode where the fourth wall is broken, the first being Red, and the second being Blue.
  • Yellow doesn’t seem to have a problem in this episode, unlike how Red and Blue did in their debut episodes, but that might be why yellow is the colour for happiness.
  • Yellow colours some other things yellow that aren't named. the following items are seen below.
    • Popcorn
    • Pineapple slices
