"Lots of people mix We Need Another Hero up at first sight!"Fifty-Six (altered)
This page is about the prequel. For the sequel, see Seventy-Two's Super Surprise.

We Need Another Hero is the tenth episode of the seventh series of Numberblocks. It is the 145th episode overall.

Synopsis

When the octo-alert system goes out of control, it’s up to Octoblock to assemble the Super Eights to save the day. Meet the Numberblocks that make up the Eight Times Table!

Plot

The episode starts with Forty coming into the Octo-Cave, where Eight explains everything with the Octo-Alerts. The level two Octo-Alert was Sixteen trying to save escaping party balloons. Then at the level three Octo-Alert, some Numberblobs were stuck on top of a tree, so Twenty-Four rescues them, but then even more Numberblobs are stuck on a tree, where Thirty-Two comes in. But then, Oblongy was also stuck on another tree, so Forty has to rescue him.

That's half of the Super Eights on missions: Eight, Sixteen, Twenty-Four, Thirty-Two, and Forty.

The scene cuts back to Oblongy, still stuck on top of a tree. Forty decides to look for a rectangle to rescue him.

Back with Eight, he is nearly about to finish his mission, but then a level six alert comes in. Hungry, Blockzee has forgotten her picnic basket. Eight decides to call in Forty-Eight. She splits into her six, chunky Eights, who carry a block fruit each. But, they're all white, and Blockzee doesn't like block fruits of the same colour, she likes block fruits of multiple colours.

This causes a level seven alert, where Eight sends in Fifty-Six, who splits into her Rainbow Eights, and colour each block fruit in order of the rainbow (with the violet Eight to colour a seventh block fruit violet).

Problem solved, and Eight thinks they should be fine as long as there is no really big problems, only to realise to have spoken too soon. A level eight alert? Blocktopus won't return Six and Two's dice, so Eight calls in Sixty-Four.

Sixty-Four is a square and a cube. She's even a cube made of cubes! Blocktopus finally returns the dice to Six and Two, and it turns out, she liked the dice because it was a cube, as she is seen carrying eight Eights.

Now the problem is solved, and Eight can finally get back to his mission: fixing the top two levels of the Octo-Alert: levels nine and ten, for when the world needs even bigger superheroes. For now, all the Octo-alerts have been completed as the episode ends.
