Specials are episodes of Alphablocks , Numberblocks and Colourblocks which were not produced as part of a normal season. They typically run longer than a standard episode (at least ten minutes instead of the usual five), and have customised title/ending sequences.

Trivia The only specials that are longer than 10 minutes are The Treasure of Hexagon Island , Band Together , and Making Friends , which are all 20 minutes.
This is because they are the first specials of their respective sets.
The special episodes are also being available to watch on YouTube worldwide after their UK release date.
In the Crossover intro, the NB and AB intro sfx mix for about 2-3 seconds.
It's a Colourful Christmas is currently the only Special episode to be 5 minutes long.
Although this episode releases apart from the actual season, BlueZoo clarified that this episode was meant to be part of Series 2 . New Characters
