Four

Shape Party is the sixth episode of the sixth series of Numberblocks, as well as the 126th episode overall.

Synopsis[]

Four and Two dive into Flatland to go to a shape party! They meet a variety of 2D shapes - circles, different-sized triangles, quadrilaterals and many more - and learn all about their properties, before enjoying a performance of an impressive shape dance.

Characters[]

Trivia[]

  • This episode aired exactly three years after What's My Number?.
  • Flatland returns after 80 episodes, but this is the first time anyone besides Four sees it, although he did mention it to the others.
  • This episode reveals why Four turns into a square, as the arrangements (like 2's shape) turns solid.
  • This is the seventh episode where a "Numberblock" changes colour.
    • Coincidentally, a heptagon, which has seven sides, changes a character's colour.
  • If you count the flatlanders, Seven is the biggest number in this episode for the 2nd time in a while. However, Four is the biggest Numberblock in this episode.
  • Four explicitly calls the circles round, but still doesn't show any fear of them. Two doesn't even point it out.
  • The flatlanders somehow know Four's real name, even though they previously knew him as just Square.
  • Somehow, the big rectangle (who may or may not be Forty) doesn't know Two's name.
  • Octagon did not appear in this episode despite having a major role in the episode where he last appeared in. Nonagon and Decagon also don't appear.

Design differences between this episode and Flatland[]

  • Two comes to Flatland with Four.
  • The outlines of all Flatlanders are thicker.
  • Rectangle appears taller, making him look more like Forty.
    • Kite and Dart both appear wider.
  • Trapezium's mouth is less wide.
  • Circle looks darker.
  • Heptagon gained hair.
