Seventeen is the seventh episode of the fourth season of Numberblocks. It is the 67th episode overall.
Seventeen sings a song about what some painters paint and makes some art, with the catch that he always paints 17 of everything.
Plot[]
The Numberblocks are seen to be going to the grand opening of Numberland's first art gallery, then we see Rocket Ten with Seven heading to the grand opening, but Three suddenly snatches Ten and Seven inside. She explains to them that because she has gotten distracted by her sparkly invitations, she forgot to add artwork in the gallery, so Ten and Seven offer to help. Three decides they can help by having Ten rocket Seven through the gallery to make art. They launch, but stumble and eventually land.
Seventeen was created, and Three tells Seventeen to make art quickly because the Numberblocks are entering the gallery. Seventeen begins to sing a song about what some painters paint and makes some art, with the catch that he always paints 17 of everything. Three gets thrown around in the process.
I scream, you scream, we all scream for ice-cream.
aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!
Yummy!
Wait, I know what this gallery needs:
Your art!
Let your imagination play, paint what you want, go your own way.
A piece of paper's purpose, is to be a picture one day.
You can be an artist, the best there's ever been. But why paint only one of things, when you could paint Seventeen? Hee hee!!
This song sounds very similar to "Minnie's Bow-Tique" from Minnie's Bow-Toons and the Mickey Mouse Clubhouse episode "Minnie's Bow-Tique."
Seventeen's paintings reference various artist's paintings:
"Some painters only paint Portraits": Andy Warhol - Marilyn
"Some painters like to paint Bluebirds": Unknown
"Some painters paint Flowers": Van Gogh - Vase with Fifteen Sunflowers
"Some painters like to paint Apples": René Magritte - Son of man
"Some painters like to paint soup cans": Andy Warhol - Campbell's Soup Cans
"Some painters paint splatters": Jackson Pollock
"Some painters paint dots": Damian Hurst
"Some painters like to paint faces": Edvard Munch - The Scream
When Seventeen says "Your art!", the song's key changes from D major to C major. Seventeen then addresses both his fellow blocks and the viewers, encouraging everyone to create original artwork.
Fourteen isn't wearing his skateboard helmet.
During Sixteen's reveal trailer, a clip of the countdown scene is shown.
In the scene where Nine says 'Nice juxtaposition', he is holding a glass of milk, which is a possible callback to the previous episode Fifteen.
