Trivia[]

  • This is the first appearance of both Indigo and Violet.
  • First Indigo coloured object: The sixth row in the rainbow puzzle.
  • First Violet coloured object: The seventh row in the rainbow puzzle.
  • The episode shares the exact same title as an Alphablocks episode.
  • This is the first episode where more than one Colourblock debuts in the same episode, the second being Black and White.
  • Some screenshots were first shown from a UK-exclusive Jigsaw Puzzle game from Colourblocks on the Cbeebies website.
  • This is the first time in a Colourblocks episode where the character doesn't debut in their own episode. This happened many times with some Numberblocks episodes like Another One with Two and Twenty-One and On with Twenty-Two.
  • The way how they sang their colours at the end is how it happened on Pattern Palace.
  • This is the final Colourblocks episode to be released in 2022.
  • This is the first episode to debut a character who didn't fall from the sky (this instance being two). Both Indigo and Violet came out from the forest. The second is Black and White (both titular characters respectively) and the third is The Printing Crew (Cyan and Magenta).
  • This is the first episode to have two back-to-back colour mixing sequences, the second is Grey.
  • This episode teaches the standard rainbow (ROYGBIV) rather than the inaccurate one that most other kids cartoons depict (ROYGBPP).
