[We see One Hundred, Ten, and One standing around a campsite.]
One Hundred: Hello, One. Hello, Ten!
Ten: Hello, One Hundred.
One Hundred: Sit, sit. Ones place, Tens place, Hundreds place.
One: Look, teddy! So many stars! There must be a hundred of them.
One Hundred: [laughs] Oh, there are many more than that.
One: More than one hundred?! But you're the biggest number I know!
One: [gasps] You can always make a bigger number by adding 1!
One Hundred: And how would that look? Think. Think BIG; this is a good night for big thoughts!
[A speech bubble shows up.]
One: Ohh... umm... I love thinking about numbers! Look, One Hundred! If I join up with you, We'll be...
One Hundred and One: One hundred and One.
One: And we can keep adding one!
One Hundred and Two: One hundred and Two,
One Hundred and Three: One hundred and Three.
Ten: Or we can add tens!
One Hundred and Ten: One Hundred and Ten,
One Hundred and Twenty: One hundred and Twenty,
One Hundred and Thirty: One hundred and Thirty.
One: And if we can add ones...
Ten & One: And tens... we can add...
One, Ten, and One Hundred: Hundreds!
One Hundred: One Hundred,
Two Hundred: Two Hundred,
Three Hundred: Three Hundred...
One: [gasp] We could make...
Nine Hundred and Ninety-Nine: NINE HUNDRED AND NINETY NINE!!!
One: Wow! That's the biggest number I can think of!
One: But there must be bigger numbers.. Because we can always add more blocks!
One: So what's bigger than Nine Hundred and Ninety-Nine?
One Hundred: Think about it this way. Let's start with you, One. One block.
One Hundred: Now ten of you, ten Ones. What's that?
One: Ten.
One Hundred: Now let's have ten Tens! What's that?
One: One Hundred!
One Hundred: Now...?
One: TEN HUNDREDS!
One: What's that?
One Thousand: One... Thousand!
One: You look like a giant me!
One Thousand: I'm a thousand Ones!
One: Wow! I can't wait to meet you! [yawn]
One Thousand: [laughing] Good night, little One!
One: Good night One Thousand! [yawns again]
[We see One Hundred, Ten, and One lying down. One Hundred and Ten are fast asleep, but One is awake.]
One: There are so many BIG thoughts buzzing in my head I'll NEVER get to sleep.
One: Ten hundreds are One Thousand! And that's not even... the biggest... number [passes out and goes to sleep]
[A dream bubble shows. and the camera zooms into the dream.]
One: Ahhh! One! One dream.
One: Hello, dream! [giggles]
[Ten Ones appear and link.]
One: Ten ones are Ten.
[Nine more Tens fall from the sky and link.]
One: Ten tens... are One Hundred!
[Nine hundreds fall behind One hundred and link.]
One: Ten Hundreds are One Thousand!
One: Ten lots of One Thousand... are...
[Nine Thousands fall onto One Thousand.]
Ten Thousand: Ten thousand!!
One: Ten lots of Ten Thousand are...
[Nine Ten Thousands fall from the sky and link.]
One Hundred Thousand: One Hundred Thousand!
One: And.. Ten lots.. of One Hundred Thousand... are...
[Nine One Hundred Thousands fall behind One Hundred Thousand.]
One Million: ONE MILLION!
One: OOHHH! HELLO!!!
One Million: HELLO, LITTLE ONE!
One: Wow! I never knew there was a number so BIG!
One Million: And you can always make a number that's BIGGER! [echoes]
[The dream fades away. revealing one sleeping.]
One: One teddy. One moon. One million stars! And more. I can think of bigger and bigger numbers. Because numbers go on forever and ever!
[Credits play as the camera shifts towards the night sky.]
