Trivia

  • Song: One Wonderful World
  • This is the first episode for many things:
    • This is the first episode of Numberblocks.
    • This is the first episode with only one Numberblock, the second being "Ten in the Bed".
    • This is the first episode where a Numberblock sings in their debut.
  • The year "2016", instead of "2017", can be seen in the credits of episodes from Series 1 and 2, despite the fact that this episode aired on January 23, 2017.
    • With that in mind, the beta Numberblocks would have been conceptualized much earlier.
    • This can also be because they were planning on a December release, but due to being worked on in late 2016 (as seen in early concepts from that year), it was likely pushed to January because of delays.
  • The concept of this episode and Another One originated from an old comic, featuring the beta Numberblocks.
  • Marcel McCalla, Teresa Gallagher and David Holt's names appear on the credits, despite none of them voicing in this episode.
    • This is due to the episode being produced in 2017.
  • This episode has the most reenactments done. Episodes such as Once Upon A Time retold the story, and ones like Land of the Giants are more like a "what-if?", only this time, with different numbers (such as Tens instead of Ones). This also happens in Twoland, with Twos instead of Ones.
  • This episode mentions One Million, despite debuting in One Thousand and One.
  • The lyric “Maybe I can be part of something bigger.” foreshadows all the other characters that would appear later on.
  • The first line of the series is "This is new.".
  • This is the first Numberblocks episode One appears in where she is not the smallest Numberblock, followed by Zero's official debut.
  • One Million was mentioned in the song.

References in later episodes and shows

  • Once Upon A Time - This episode retold One, alongside Another One and Two.
  • Land of the Giants - This episode, alongside the intro and certain episodes of Series 1, was recreated with x10 instead of 1.
  • One Hundred - As part of One Hundred's song, one part of the lyrics said "Remember when there was only one?".
  • Your Turn - Like in Once Upon a Time, the Numberblobs redone this episode as part of their show.
  • Twoland - One remembers this episode's events, and the episode was also reenacted with a different number again, this time with Two.
  • 100 Ways to Leave the Planet - At the end, the new One in Numberland repeated the beginning of the episode as well as the very end of the song.
  • Colourblocks - The beginning of every character’s debut episode in Season 1 (except for Rainbow, Black and White, The Printing Crew and Grey) has the characters dropping down from the sky before gaining their bodies.
  • Go: The beginning of the episode has Go falling down from the sky, but unlike every other instance she is fully alive before landing.

Errors

  • In the "One, one tree" part, the Tree is untextured.
