Plot[]

The Numberblocks 1-10 are at a two-sided court. Three says, "Let's play Bounce Ball!" Two teams are created by One and Two. One picks Three, Five, Seven, and Nine for her team, whilst Two picks Four, Six, Eight, and Ten for his.

When the teams are thinking of team names, Three proposes her team be called "The Yellows", but it is pointed out that they are not all yellow. Four, meanwhile is rolling a ball on his head. Three attempts to do the same, but her ball falls off her head. Three says her team doesn't have flat even tops like Two's team. This gives Two's team the idea to call themselves "The Even Tops" because they all have even tops when standing two blocks wide, and they all balance balls on their heads.

Nine attempts to do the same, but his ball falls off him onto Seven, then to Five, then Three, then One. Nine says his team members all have one odd block sticking out when they stand two blocks wide (One takes offence to this, but still counts in the pattern since she only has one block.) One's team then calls themselves "The Odd Blocks".

Wondering who'll keep score, Three grabs a Magic Mirror and duplicates herself. The other Three goes under the scoreboard and subtracts into One and Two as the commentators of the bounceball game.

The Even Tops bounce the ball on their heads from Two, to Four, to Six, to Eight, to Ten, showing that the Even Tops are all made of Twos. Ten head-bounces the ball to the 2-Target at the Odd Blocks' side.

The score is 0-2

The Odd Blocks bounce the ball on their heads from One to Three to Five to Seven to Nine, while also showing that they are made of Twos (except for One) with an odd One on top. Nine head-bounces the ball to the 2-Target at the Even Tops' side.

2-2

The Even Tops cheerlead.

2-4-6-8-10!
Come on evens, score again!
10-8-6-4-2!
That's what even numbers do!

The Odd Blocks cheerlead too.

1-3-5-7-9!
We are odd and we feel fine!
9-7-5-3-1!
Odds are having so much fun!

One head-bounces the ball at the 1-Target on the Even Tops' side.

3-2

Commentators One and Two add up into Three who says, "The Odd Blocks beat the Even Tops by a magnificent 3 points to 2!" The Numberblocks cheer for their victory.

Six jokingly says, "Well, if you can't beat them..." She splits into two Threes. "Join them!"

Trivia[]

  • Nine is an odd composite number, but he is also a square number which means he would be able to roll the ball on his head perfectly when arranged in a square like Four did. He stays arranged 1R+2x4 in this episode.
    • This is also the first time Ten is seen without being arranged vertically.
  • "Let's play bounceball!" is said three times in this episode.
    • Coincidentally, all three times were said by numbers that are or equal to Three. (Three, Three, Host One and Host Two).
  • Six's "Oh!" is reused in The Wrong Number.

Math Magic[]

Errors[]

  • When Nine head-bounces the ball to the blue 2-Target, Ten is missing her blue helmet. This Same thing happens when 2 and 8 form back into 10 in The Two Tree
  • When the Numberblocks are thinking of their team names, Eight has 4 normal limbs.
    • Also, when Eight goes to the Evens team, he has 6 octopus arms and 2 normal legs.
  • Four rolls the ball on his flat head, contradicting his fear of round things.
