Trivia[]

  • This episode currently holds the record for having the longest name out of any Numberblocks episode, at 28 characters (excluding spaces).
  • This episode aired exactly three years after The Many Friends Of Twenty, and exactly twelve years after the Alphablocks episode: Zap.
  • This is the fourth appearance of Octonaughty, the first being Octoblock to the Rescue!, the second being Now in 3D, and the third being Crossover, although if you count the images in Ten's Top Ten, this would be his fifth.
  • Octonaughty doesn’t have a lisp here or in Crossover.
  • This is the second appearance of the Octo-Computer, the first was the Alphablocks and Numberblocks Crossover special. This episode also reveals it to be sentient.
  • This is also the second appearance of the Town Square, the first was Double Back.
  • This is the third episode where a Numberblock changes size (in this case, Octonaughty is tiny), the others being What If? and The Case of the Missing Blocks.
  • This is the third episode where only Numberblocks of the same value appear (if you don't count the picture of Three).
  • This is the first episode in Series 6 where Eight doesn't stay arranged as a Square with a hole (or 3+1[>]1+3).
  • This is also the first episode where Three doesn't appear, but her rubber duck does. The second episode to do so is the next episode.
    • However, she was only pictured in this episode.
  • Octonaughty's eyes have gotten wider since his last appearance. It is unknown if this is permanent.
  • The level for this episode is arguable
    • It could be a level 2 because the biggest Numberblock is 8 and the episode was released in the same week as the other episodes that are level 2.
    • It could be a level 3 because the clock tower shows the numbers up to 12. Some locations, like the Two Times Shoe Shop, can also be seen.
  • Octonaughty said "Octo-Flop" for the second time in the series, the first being Now in 3D.
  • Eight seems to have picked up the idiot ball, which is ironic because octopuses are smart.
