Trivia
- Song: Time to Shine
- This episode's title was possibly foreshadowed in Ten's Top Ten, when Ten said 'Now it's Numberblock Nine's chance to shine!'.
- This episode completes all ten times tables songs in release date order.
- Normally, times tables usually go up to 12x12, but there are currently no 11 or 12 times tables, probably because 108, 110, 120, 121, 132, and 144 go beyond 100.
- This episode marks the debut of the Nine Times Table, who is the final times table to debut in this series.
- This is currently the last musical times table episode to be released. The episode for the next times table "Heroes With Zeroes" was released in Series 5.
- The roll call is said “x times nine is y”, instead of “x nines are y”, unlike the others[2]. This is the first (and only) musical times table episode to do so.
- Although Ten, Nineteen, Twenty-Eight, Fifty-Five, and Sixty-Four are already figured out, they only appear as faceless bricks however.
- Physical or not, this is the first time Ninety-One’s full body appears on screen.
- This is the first time that Forty-Five splits into her Step Squad.
- This is the first time Sixty-Three and Seventy-Two sneezed, and this is the second time that a non-square sneezes, the first was Six from Counting Sheep.
- This episode is the only time in the show where the "x Tens and y" arrangements of Sixty-Three, Seventy-Two, and Eighty-One are seen after being figured out, as demonstrated with the white blocks. Eighty-One's Eight Tens and Ones arrangement is only seen in the Numberblocks World app, and seeing as all Series 7 content will be added to that app, it is likely Sixty-Three and Seventy-Two's "x Tens and y" arrangements will be in that app.
- In Indonesian, it says something like "1 x 9 = 9, he can pull the rammer" rather than "one times nine is nine, he's a friendly square" compared to the English version.
- This episode probably reveals why all the Nines are grey: they lived in a completely greyscale world.
- This episode has the most characters ever in a Times Tables episode, including the ten Magic Nines.
- Whether or not this is intentional, the lines "You might think of Nine as not quite Ten" and "I am here to help you think again" both have exactly 9 syllables.
Goofs
- In the vertical segment, part of Twenty-Seven's ten borders are missing.
- When Eighty-One sneezes, his red block has a magenta outline.
- After said sneeze, Eighty is shown with four normal limbs.
- This is the second time someone other than Eight has this error, and the second time Eighty has it.
- Ninety's border colours are inconsistent.
- When ten Nines multiply to Ninety for the first time in the episode, Ninety is in his 9 by 10 arrangement than 10 by 9.
- Debatable error: In the add Ten, take One away scene, the drawing of Sixty-Three is shown with eyebrows, when in Sail the Seven Seas his centred face has no eyebrows, but that one might have been the one with an error which is why this is debatable.
- In the “x times nine is 9x” scene, when they make Ninety, Ninety is always in his sideways arrangement rather than his long way.
- In the vertical portion, at 5 times 9, 45 is shown slightly leaning to the left of the screen, but when the 9 Times Table ways “Time for Nines to shine!” 45 is shown slightly leaning to the right of the screen. The same thing happens with 81 just a few seconds later.
