  • This is the second episode to air on Valentine’s Day.
  • Red, Orange, Yellow, Green, Cyan, Blue, Magenta, Light Grey, and Dark Grey are absent in this episode.
  • Pink, Indigo, Violet, and Brown return in this episode. Their last appearance was in It's A Colourful World.
    • As a coincidence, this episode aired two years after the Alphablocks and Numberblocks crossover episode: Making Friends and also aired on Will Jennings's birthday.
      • As another coincidence, Jennings voices Purple, who plays a major role in the episode.
    • Pink's hat has changed; it now has a white stripe across the bottom instead of two thin black stripes.
  • Purple is the main character of this episode, making this the second episode in Series 2 where he is the main character.
