Meet Alphablock E is the fifth episode of Alphablocks: Magic Words.
Synopsis[]
Alphablock E makes an echo! Find out how to make the short /e/ sound and have a ton of phonics fun with Alphablock E and the magic words egg, pen and bed.
Plot[]
E walks into view, shouting into his megaphone to make an echoing "/ɛ/" sound. The narrator explains to the viewer that "E echoes in the air".
Digraph GG walks into view, as the narrator explains that it's time to do some word magic. The Alphablocks proceed to spell out the word "egg". The screen then flashes to an egg. A chicken then walks over and accidentally sends it rolling down the hill, the chicken chasing not far behind. They apparently start racing towards a finish line, as the narrator starts commentating who's in the lead. At first, the egg's ahead, but soon, the chicken catches up and wins the race. The narrator then says the word out once more for the viewer, describing the egg as an "egg-straodinary egg".
P and N stand either side of E, and they all spell out the word "pen". A blue and green pen with a face appears, and draws three helium balloons. P, E, and N cheer as the pen holds on and floats off into the sky. The narrator then says the word out once more for the viewer, describing the pen as an "exciting pen".
B and D then stand either side of E, and they all spell out the word "bed". Immediately, night comes, and the camera pans over to a bunny bouncing up and down on a multicoloured bed. The narrator tells the bunny that it is bed time, and that there should be no more bouncing. The bunny hops into bed and falls asleep. The narrator then says the word out once more for the viewer, describing the bed as an "enjoyable bed".
The animation from the very start plays again, with the narrator saying that "E enjoys echoes".
