Synopsis

Brown takes the Colourblocks exploring in the forest.

Trivia

• While Red, Yellow, and Blue are mixing, you can see Orange, Green, and Purple on the chair.
• This is the first episode where three Colourblocks mix to make a colour.
• This is the fourth episode where Yellow + Blue = Green was mentioned. Previous episodes were Green Means Go, Rainbow, and Pick a Partner.
• This is the first episode where either Black or White, but not both, appear in. The second and third are Return of the Printing Crew and Printing Crew to the Rescue.
  • In those three cases, only Black appears.
  • These are also the only episodes where Black appears without White.
  • Interestingly, this episode takes place chronologically before Return of the Printing Crew.
• Though the colours orange and blue mix to make brown, it’s not mentioned at all. However, it is shown as red+yellow and blue make brown, and red and yellow mix to make orange. a+b+c=d, so ab+c=d.
• When Red and Green come to Brown's campsite, the mud on them disappeared.
  • This could mean there are baths and showers in Colourland, as maybe they washed off the mud.

Errors

If you look closely, you can see that Black is colouring the trunk dark grey.

• Debatable error: When Orange and Black are mixing their colours on the tree trunk, Black clearly colours it dark grey.
  • The same thing happens in Grey when she was colouring the elephant with White. It may not be an error on the animators’ part because it’s hard to see details if they colour it with a solid black, which is why this is debatable.
  • Interestingly, Dark Grey itself debuted two whole episodes later in that exact same episode by release date. (three episodes earlier chronologically)
• Yellow also splashed in a puddle in It's a Grey Day.
