Numberblocks Wiki

The Magic Mirror is an object constantly appearing throughout Numberblocks. If a Numberblock moves sideways in front of the mirror, a copy of them is made by the mirror. They all come from Hexagon Island according to Twenty-One's saying.

The mirror duplicates times when the phrase " lots please" is said, considering is any number. This is only shown in Mirror, Mirror and More To Explore.

It can also change heights/sizes according to the Numberblock's size, as shown in the episode The Treasure of Hexagon Island.

Variations[]

Magic Mirror[]

The normal magic mirror seen commonly in Numberblocks episodes.

Magic Home Mirror[]

A special magic mirror that transports Alphablocks and Numberblocks to and from their worlds. It was made when Magic E spelled out "Home" to get One home, turning one of the normal Magic Mirrors into a Magic Home Mirror.

Octonaughty appears to exploit the power of the Magic Home Mirror in Crossover, where he uses it to switch the places of Alphablocks and Numberblocks against their will. He soon flees through the mirror whilst it's in a strange, glitched state as a last-ditch effort to escape after Twenty-Seven gets the upper hand.

In Super Eights Assemble, the Magic Home Mirror makes a cameo appearance inside the museum, but is not used.

Trivia[]

  • One is the first character to use the mirror.
  • Two never used the mirror until Double Trouble. This also means this is the first episode for the magic mirror to be used for not discovering new Numberblocks. The second is Once Upon A Time, though the magic mirror was actually used to retell what happened "In the Beginning" (The Numberblobs used a fake magic mirror for this in Your Turn, but this is most likely because the mirror magic only works for Numberblocks).
  • Forty is the biggest Numberblock to use the mirror, as only shown in Land of the Giants.
  • The mirrors only work on Numberblocks, which is shown and outright confirmed by Two in Making Friends. Also, Five mentioned it earlier in The Treasure of Hexagon Island.
    • Alphablocks already don't need the mirrors anyways, as they can already duplicate themselves for words that require more than one letter.
    • Zero probably doesn't need the mirror either, because she can subtract herself.
    • However, magic mirrors can copy clothing when being worn, such as hats. This is shown in several episodes like Double Trouble, Too Many Threes, and some others.
  • As confirmed in The Treasure of Hexagon Island, when a magic mirror is used to duplicate another magic mirror, both mirrors will become overwhelmed and lose their magic. As such, they will be unable to create new Numberblocks.
  • In Mirror, Mirror, the four times variation of the Magic Mirrors is never seen. This is due to 4 being 2×2 and 8 using two fours instead of four twos.
