— Lime |
Lime is the tenth episode of the second series of Colourblocks. It is the 40th episode overall.
Synopsis[]
Meet Lime! She’s in between Yellow and Green, fresh and full of zing! In this musical episode, Lime sings her heart out with her beloved electric guitar, loving the limelight.
Plot[]
Green colours her wagon green ready to search for green things, and Yellow does so too. Surprisingly, Yellow bumps into Green! Hehe, but it’s all shrugged off by the game of collect-a-colour. To play the game, the Colourblocks have to run around, and collect as many things in their colour.
As they come on running around, Green and Yellow find so much things: bananas, corn, canary, custard, a yellow pepper, which are yellow… and a lizard, cabbage, a green pepper, cucumbers, a caterpillar, which are green! But there’s a fruit that’s such a debate.. green or yellow? Cliche, but they mix and make… a yellow-green colour!
Yellow and green mix to make lime! Happily, Lime arrives in a zingy bright colour with her new favourite fruit: a lime. She’s not yellow, green, but on its own: in between! Lime sings a huge song about her being full of zing, in the limelight, and inbetween yellow and green.
Lime is very neon, bright, bringing all of that attention, as the episode ends with a nice “soemwhere in between” to end the song.
Lyrics[]
It's Lime time, time for Lime
I am fresh, I am bright, I'm always in the limelight
It's Lime time, time for Lime
Am I yellow? Am I green? I'm somewhere in between!
A colour you should know, so bright it seems to glow
Lime will bring the zing, to brighten everything
And as this illustrates, I can brighten up your plates
I can make your skates look WOW! The time for Lime is now!
It’s got freshness, it’s got zest! It stands out from the rest!
It's Lime time, time for Lime
I am fresh, yes, I am bright, I'm always in the limelight
It's Lime time, time for Lime
Am I yellow? Am I green? I'm somewhere in between!
And oh, did I mention… Lime attracts attention
A lime guitar so loud, you’ll stand out from the crowd! (WOO!)
It’s got freshness, it’s got zest! It stands out from the rest!
What time is it?
It's Lime time, time for Lime
I am fresh, yes, I am bright, I'm always in the limelight
It's Lime time, time for Lime
Am I yellow? Am I green? I'm somewhere in between!
I’m somewhere in between!

Trivia[]
- Song: It's Lime Time!
- Unlike most of the other Colourblocks’ debut episodes, Lime is formed when Yellow and Green mix together, rather than falling from the sky. This is not the first time because it’s also how the Greys were made. However, it is the first time such thing happened with a non- greyscale Colourblock.
- Also, like most of the other debut episodes, this episode has a song in it, too.
- This is the second Colourblock debut episode so far where a new Colourblock doesn’t appear alone, and is also the only one where the sky is not uncoloured.
- The colour mixing segments look different to Series 1.
- This marks the second ever Learningblocks episode with a song not written by Ben Lee-Delisle.
- This episode's song was written by Brollyman.
- This is the first Series 2 episode to have a mixing segment.
