Grid Games[1] Galore is the seventh episode of the seventh series of Numberblocks. It is the 142nd episode overall.
Synopsis
Numberblock Six is preparing for her board game club when Fifty-Six passes by outside. Six is a little mixed up, thinking it's her guest of honour, and pulls her into the room. But what Six doesn't realise is that she is not the guest she was waiting for. Fifty-Six is a big superhero, who just happened to be passing by. Suddenly, Fifty-Four arrives, a little late. He's the guest of honour Six has been waiting for, and he's so excited to start playing loads of lovely board games.
Plot
The episode is set in Six's new board game club, as she eagerly waits for her game guest. A Numberblock enters, and Six grabs her into the room, but it wasn't what Six thought it was. It was Fifty-Six, a rainbow hero. Six gets confused, but then the real guest enters. It's Fifty-Four, the gentleman to games on grids. Six gets even more confused. The two comfort Six and tell her many people mix the two up. Makes sense, since they are both big super rectangles. But here are some differences: 54 is 5 tens and 4 ones, whereas 56 is 5 tens and 6 ones (That's two more, no wonder they get mixed up.) Visually, Fifty-Six has a rainbow hero mask, while Fifty-Four has a snuggly grey and indigo tie. Learning all of this, Six can finally tell the two apart.
Now, enough confusion, let's get into some games! Fifty-Six divides into eight Sevens, so Fifty-Four can have an audience. Fifty-Four is nine Sixes in a grid, which means he is also six Nines with grid games galore. Six divides into two Threes to play a a quick round of "Noughts and Crosses", which eventually ends with the Nought (Circle) Three winning.
She joyously throws her hat up...onto a tall stack of board games... Uh, oh; the Numberblocks don't have much time before the stack collapses! Fortunately, eight Sevens are here, because they can become seven rainbow Eights! The Eights worked together to create a rainbow and steer the stack up straight.
Hooray for Fifty-...Four? Oops, Six confused Fifty-Four and Fifty-Six again! The two give her some rhymes to tell them apart. "For grid games galore, call 54!" "In a colourful fix? Call 56!" Six can distinguish the two again, and is excited for a game of che- Oh yeah the stack... How about "Tiddlywinks"?

Trivia
- This is the debut of Fifty-Six in her figured out form.
- This is the second episode of Series 7 to have the word 'grid' in its name, the first being Grid Unlocked.
- On the CBeebies schedule, in the synopsis, the "Four" in "Fifty-Four" and the "Six" in "Fifty-Six" have changed to one not capitalized on August 21, 2024. Since this, the synopsis now says, "Meet Fifty-four and Fifty-six in Six’s board game club, and learn how to tell them apart!"
- The CBeebies schedule calls this episode "Grid Game Galore".[2] The official Numberblocks Facebook account and copyright claims on YouTube say otherwise (Grid Games Galore).[3]
- In the thumbnail; on the side of the wall, green and purple versions of the Cube Club badge can be seen. The recolour may reference Sixty-Four, as she is a cube number.
- Crossy Three's "No!" was actually a reused voice clip borrowed from Fruit Salad.
- With the exceptions of "Nought!", "Cross!", and exclamations, every line Knotty and Crossy said during their game of Noughts and Crosses was exactly three words long.
- Knotty Three makes a clever pun when Crossy Three says "Crosses will win!" by replying "I think nought!", which sounds like "I think not!"
Errors
- Just like with Forty-Eight in The Rolling Sixes, Fifty-Four and Fifty-Six's Numberlings don't align properly when they make their Tens and Ones arrangements.
