Eighty-One, or 81, is a Numberblock made of 81 blocks.

He is voiced by Rasmus Hardiker.

Appearance[]

Eighty-One has 80 pink blocks with magenta borders, and 1 red block that often acts as his “nose” whenever he is in his 9x9 arrangement. He has pale blue square eyes, curved eyebrows, mouth, and limbs.

Eighty-One is seen sneezing a lot as he is 9x9.

In We're Going on a Square Hunt, 9 alluded to him as '9 lots of 9'. He made an appearance in The Big One as a compound until his figured out form debuted in Square on the Moon.

He speaks in an elder accent.
Eighty-One is the first if not only Numberblock in the 80s to be figured out, as Series 6 may introduce new characters in the 80s.
Eighty-One is the second male Numberblock to end in a 1, with the first being Thirty-One.
Because he is 9x9, Eighty-One has lots of similarities to Nine.
- They are both squares.
- His face is just Nine's face with his eyebrows replaced with Twelve’s eyebrows.
- He is commonly seen sneezing like Nine.
- Both him and Nine are results of $(8\times10^x)+1$ .
- They are both males.
He is the second Numberblock to be voiced by Rasmus Hardiker, with the first being Eighteen.
- Coincidentally, Eighteen's digits are Eighty-One's but swapped.
He is one of the figured-out Numberblocks with the fewest appearances in the series, the others are Forty-Nine, Thirty-Five, Twenty-Nine and Thirty-One.
Eighty-One is the 3rd fourth power to be physically figured out, the first and second being One and Sixteen respectively.
He is also the 4th square and 4th multiple of 3 to be male.
Eighty-One, like Sixteen, is almost a super rectangle with 5 factors.
His red unit block acts as his 'nose'.
Eighty-One is the first figured-out Numberblock without a self-introduction.
Eighty-One is currently the biggest figured-out Numberblock that is not a multiple of 10.

He quite sounds similar to Alphablock M.
He is the last Numberblock to be introduced as of 2022. That will change if a sixth series or new Specials featuring more figured out characters is confirmed.
Eighty-One along with Thirty-Six, Forty-Nine and Sixty-Four were probably figured-out offscreen some time before Steps Versus Squares or after the events of More to Explore and Your Turn.
- He is the only one of the four squares that weren't seen as a drawing in More To Explore.
  - This likely didn't happen as Nine showing off a drawing of him could likely make the song go out of rhyme.
  - While a drawing of him wasn't seen, the larger rebuild of the Square Temple in More to Explore, had two extra layers of the exterior added, including a Nine layer. This means this is probably where his drawing came from, even though is was never shown on screen.
