Colourblocks is a show that is related to Alphablocks and Numberblocks, both of which are animated by Blue-Zoo Productions. It is the third Learningblocks show by airdate.

Welcome to Colourland! Colourblocks helps children to see and understand colours in a new way. Each episode is carefully crafted with the help of leading global colour experts, child experts and brought to life by BAFTA award-winning animation studio, Blue Zoo Productions. It's the story of a group of friends, who use Colour Magic to being Colourland to life in the most vibrant way!"

- Red - Lively Red is very excited to be in the world. She's fiery and dramatic and always running around finding new things to be passionate about.
- Blue - Cool Blue loves to relax in his little blue boat. He's a calm thinker who's great at solving problems and who loves to learn new things about the world.
- Yellow - Sunny Yellow is a happy, bouncy, cheerful chap. Full of fun and always positive, he keeps his friends smiling.
- Green - Green loves nature, naturally! Kind & relaxed, she loves plants & animals & is happiest in the forest or growing things in her greenhouse.
- Orange - Active Orange is full of energy! She can't stop running, jumping, stretching & star-jumping, & when she runs out of juice, a slice of orange soon gets her powered up again!
- Purple - Imaginative Purple always has big dreams & big plans. He lives like a king in a big purple castle where all his friends are always welcome!
- Indigo and Violet - Meet the Rainbow Chasers - Indigo, who says he's 'like Blue but a bit more Purple', and Violet, who says she's 'A little bit Purple, but a bit more Blue'. These friends of Purple share a passion for rainbows and long to see one.
- Black and White - These mischievous friends are often seen together, along with the speakers that say their names when they bounce on them. As well as making their own colours, they help the Colourblocks create dark and light shades.
- Pink - Fun-loving Pink pops up to put the icing on the cake and the strawberry in the milkshake! 'Pink is for everyone!' he sings in his upbeat party song.
- Brown - Down-to-earth Brown is an adventurer and an explorer through and through. She lives in a log cabin in the woods alongside brown bears and brown owls.
- Cyan and Magenta - Cyan and Magenta are Yellow's Printing Crew friends who love to race in their Car-tridges. Cyan is chilled and laid-back, a bit like Blue, but watch out when she starts to race! Meanwhile Magenta loves to tinker and fix things and is always upgrading his racing Car-tridge!
- Grey, Dark Grey, and Light Grey - Black and White discover that they can mix to make Grey, and once that happens, they mix with Grey to make Dark Grey and Light Grey, creating a whole family of shades.
- Deep Blue and Sky Blue - These two shades of blue are adventurers always exploring the depths and heights of the world. Sky Blue’s up in the sky, where he gets the nickname: “Sky” from, and Deep Blue’s down in the deep blue sea, where the nickname “Deep” comes in mind!
- Lime - Amazing Lime is full of zing! She sings so loud you couldn’t hear the whole crowd! She’s not yellow or green, but in between!

Trivia
- The show was announced on the 31st of August 2022.
- It is currently the only Learningblocks show out of the four to not premiere its first episode on the fourth Monday of January, instead premiering on the second Monday of September, which is the month where most of the show's target audience had already just gone back to school a week prior.
- Alphablocks premiered on the 25th of January, Numberblocks premiered on the 23rd of January, and Colourblocks premiered on the 12th of September. Wonderblocks premiered on the 20th January.
- Colourblocks has the least amount of characters out of all three Learningblocks shows.
- It is the first Learningblocks show to premiere in the 2020s, as opposed to the 2010s.
- The show's title uses the British English way of spelling of the word "colour", which includes a U. However, there's also the American English spelling "color", which lacks the U.
- Both the British spelling "Colourblocks" and the alternative or the American spelling "Colorblocks" are trademarked by Alphablocks Ltd.
- With the exception of Beth Chalmers and David Holt who previously voiced for Alphablocks and Numberblocks, Colourblocks has another entirely new team of voice actors that are distinct from Alphablocks and Numberblocks.
- The characters are discovered all alone, and to get to know them they have to flip the page or mix to know them.
- This is different from Alphablocks, with all 26 being discovered onscreen, and Numberblocks, with a little One starting a whole family tree of numbers.
