Choosing Colours is the 28th episode of the first series of Colourblocks. It is the 28th episode overall.

Synopsis[]

Red and Blue choose colours for their playhouses.

Plot[]

The episode starts with Blue adding a steering wheel to his playhouse. Red has also finished her playhouse, but they haven’t finished yet, as they still need to colour them. Red colours her entire playhouse red. Blue wants to choose his colours carefully, so he calls Yellow and Green for help.

Red and Yellow mix their colours on the roof, making orange. Green and Yellow colour the stripes. Blue spots Black and White playing on te swings. Blue chooses Black to colour his cushion.

Blue and Black mix to make Dark Blue!

He then chooses the inside of his playhouse to be light blue.

Blue and White mix to make Light Blue!

Everyone then chooses their own colours for Blue’s playhouse.

Blue and Red colour the swings. They mix their colours in the middle to make purple.

Yellow colours the wheel.

Green colours the boards on the mast, and Black and White add shade and tint to the bottom and top ones respectively.

Blue’s playhouse now looks colourful! Red is upset about her playhouse not being as colourful as Blue’s, but Colourblocks can always recolour things. Blue recolours the bench. Red chooses her roof to be purple, so the two bounce up and mix.

Red then chooses the zigzags to be orange and green. Green colours some of the zigzags, while Red and Yellow mix for the others. Red then chooses to have three types of red for the swings: dark red, bright red, and light red.

Red’s playhouse now looks colourful. Everyone goes into the playhouses and plays. This is the end of the episode.

Trivia[]

  • This is the second episode where a secondary colour (RYB) itself appears in an episode, but the Colourblock doesn't. The first was The Uncoloured Castle with Green's colour appearing, but she herself not.
  • When Red is sliding down the slide on her playhouse, she colours it red, despite not actively touching it with her hands. This reveals that Colourblocks can colour things with other parts of their body besides their hands.
  • This episode recycles soundtrack from Green Means Go.
