The Blocks Universe, previously referred to as Learningblocks or Numberblocks and Friends, is the franchise encompassing the shows Alphablocks, Numberblocks, Colourblocks, and Wonderblocks. Alphablocks Ltd. is the company that created the shows.

Shows

  • Alphablocks (2010-2013; 2021; 2025-) - A show about the alphabet, phonics, and spelling, starring the titular characters. Its original run lasted from 2010 to 2013 with four series, and was then revived in 2021 for four specials, and in 2025 for two more series.
  • Numberblocks (2017-) - A show about numbers and mathematics starring the Numberblocks, a cast of characters who can add, subtract, and use math to create more sums and numbers. It has been running since 2017 with eight currently-released series, and has been renewed until 2027.[1]
  • Colourblocks (2022-) - A show about colours, mixing colours, and colour tools. It has been running since 2022 with two currently-released series.
  • Wonderblocks (2025-) - A show about coding. It has been running since the start of 2025. It was originally named Thinkingblocks, but the trademark has since been abandoned[2], possibly due to copyright concerns or issues.

  • The Blocks Universe show with the highest amount of episodes is Numberblocks, with it having 169 episodes and 8 series.
  • Alphablocks is the oldest Blocks Universe show, as well as the original, having first debuted in 2010, and worked on as early as 2009.
  • Other Blocks Universe-related shows and media, despite not being confirmed to be part of their respective show's continuity, may also be considered part of the Blocks Universe, such as mini-series like Colour Explorers and Alphablocks: Magic Words, the various Numbersongs, and the various Blocks Universe-related books, apps, and audio books.
