Black and White is the eighteenth episode of the first series of Colourblocks. It is the eighteenth episode overall.
Synopsis[]
Black and White arrive in Colourland.
Plot[]
Black floats around, shown to be giving various objects in Colourland their outlines. After outlining a few plants and a mountainside, Black colours in her first object, a bug. The second object she colours is her speaker, which she hops on, causing the speaker to say, "Black". She also colours a pair of sunglasses, an umbrella, a tyre, and a top hat with a bat inside. The bat leads her into the mountainside, where she outlines, and then colours in, a cave entrance.
When Black enters the cave, she encounters White for the first time. White themself is drawing in white outlines of stalagmites and stalactites in the cave. White joyfully greets Black, then colours in their own first object: a refrigerator. They also colour in their own speaker, which says "White" when hopped on, as a means of introducing themself. Black begins to add detail to the objects White colours by outlining them, be it the drawings on the refrigerator or extra details on their speaker. White also colours in a dove.
Black is overwhelmed after she opens the fridge, and a lot of white snow begins to fall down, colouring the floor of the cavern white. White happily gathers the snow, building a snowman, then hopping on their speaker again. Black adds to the snowman by colouring in its eyes and buttons, as well as giving it a smile and outlining its arms. Satisfied, Black and White high five each other.
On a wall in the cave, White outlines and then colours in a white door. Black adds outlines to the frame and the handle of the door before opening it, and both colours float outside, but not before White brings their speaker along.
White proceeds to add details to the black objects that Black coloured earlier in the episode, in a very similar fashion to what Black did to White's objects. They colour the bug's exoskeleton white, add shines to the sunglasses, and outline the frames of the umbrella, draw the tracks of the tire, and add a ribbon to the top hat. Finally, White adds the same details to Black's speaker as Black did to theirs. Both take turns hitting their speakers and having their names called.
Black completely colours in a penguin, then White colours in its belly, beak and feet. Black colours in a road, and White colours in a zebra crossing so that the penguin can cross it. Black stops to colour all the keys of a large piano, and hops on the bottom key, and White colours in the white notes whilst hitting the top key.
Both colours alternate playing notes on the piano until they cross. The bat and dove drag both of their speakers, pressing the speaker that matches their colour. Then the colours proceed to rapidly hop on the keys of the piano as they play a song. When they finish the song, both colours make excited "ta-da!" noises.
White indicates they are tired by yawning. Black flies up to the sky to colour it black, making it into a night sky. White colours in a crescent moon and adds stars to the sky. The episode concludes as the colours turn around and the dove and bat fly around Colourland together, above all of the coloured-in objects and the now black landscape.

- This is also the second episode to debut a character who didn't fall from the sky. The first is Rainbow.
- This is the first episode where every primary and secondary Colourblock is absent. The second is Grey.
- Additonally, both episodes have the same soundtrack.
- This episode aired exactly four years after Block Star, exactly six years after Two, and exactly thirteen years after Alphablocks premiered.
- Along with The Alphablocks' debut and Grey, this episode has the least amount of dialogue.
